Hendry County Schools Workforce Development & Career & Technical Education (CTE) Annual Notice of Nondiscrimination

Hendry County Schools does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), disability, or age in the provision of educational programs, services, or employment opportunities. This includes access to all Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offered at both secondary and postsecondary levels.

In accordance with federal and state laws—including Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and Florida’s Educational Equity Act—discrimination and harassment are prohibited in any educational program or activity operated by the District.

This protection extends to both students and employees and includes equal access to designated youth organizations under the Boy Scouts of America Equal Access Act. Lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission or participation in any CTE programs.
